How much does funeral photography cost?

Funeral photography prices depend on how much of the day you would like me to document. A simple service or ceremony at one location requires less coverage than a funeral where you would like photographs from the arrival, service, burial and wake.

My funeral photography packages start at £425 for up to two hours of coverage. Longer coverage is available for families who want a more complete record of the day, with packages up to £950 including full-day coverage and a memorial slideshow.

It is a personal decision, and every family is different. Some families value having photographs of the people who came together to say goodbye, while others may prefer a more private occasion. My approach is discreet and unobtrusive, and I will always respect the wishes of the family and the tone of the service.

Yes. I can photograph the funeral service, as well as the gathering afterwards, whether that is a wake, reception or celebration of life. The amount of coverage can be tailored to what you would like remembered, from a simple service through to documenting the whole day.

It depends on the type of coverage you choose. My Essential package provides up to two hours of coverage at one location, while my Family Day package provides up to four hours and My Legacy Keepsake package provides full-day coverage from arrival through to the wake or reception. If you're unsure how much coverage you need, I'm happy to talk it through with you.

Can I request specific photographs or moments?

Absolutely. If there are particular people, family groups or moments that you would especially like photographed, let me know beforehand. I will make sure I understand what matters to you while remaining sensitive to the natural flow of the day.

Can you create a memorial slideshow from the photographs?

Yes. My Legacy Keepsake package includes a 3–5 minute memorial slideshow created from the photographs taken during the day. It provides another way for families to remember the people, moments and connections that made the farewell meaningful.

A beautifully edited tribute to play during the service or keep to watch long after. You send the photographs, music, and any text you'd like included, I do the rest. Delivered as a digital download.

If you have prints rather than digital files, I can arrange to scan and digitise them for you.
